Brethren of Lodge no. 107, I greet you well and congratulate you
in reaching the 150th Anniversary of your formation.
Your Warrant was issued by the Grand Lodge of Ireland on 16th
February, 1861 ant the Lodge was called “Sphinx” as
a compliment to the Queen’s Own Regiment which had distinguished
itself in Egypt. Permission for the Lodge to have a silver Collar
for your Worshipful Master was also granted in your Centenary
year, which was most appropriate.
Your dedication, commitment and struggle, has raised your vision
to new horizons and I am confident that you will leave a worthy
legacy for those who will follow, knowing that you will strive
to expand Irish Freemasonry in this area and enjoy the satisfaction
and pleasure which will result.
I wish you every success and thank you all, most sincerely, for
taking on a most responsible task on behalf of Irish Freemasonry.
May every success be yours and may your masonic deeds bear much
fruit.
God Bless you all.
